Massa d’Albe is a small village. Everything else is in Avezzano, ten minutes away.

I Marsi shopping centre on the Tiburtina Valeria in Avezzano. Eighteen thousand square metres, an Ipercoop hypermarket and thirty-eight shops, thirteen hundred parking spaces of which eight hundred covered.
There is a pharmacy in the village. For night and holiday cover, the duty pharmacies in Avezzano are the reference.
SS. Filippo e Nicola hospital in Avezzano, with A&E. Out-of-hours doctor in town. In the house the first-aid kit is in the bathroom cabinet.
Fuel stations along the main road towards Magliano and Avezzano, some with night self service. There are none in the village: fill up before driving up, especially in winter.
Avezzano station on the Rome-Pescara line. Buses to the villages are few and built for commuters: without a car the day gets complicated.
The post office and a cash machine are in the village centre, at the town hall: no need to drive down the valley to withdraw or post something. In small shops it still helps to carry some notes.
